16-year-old girl shot and killed in East Flatbush

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 16-year-old girl was shot and killed in Brooklyn Tuesday evening.

It happened just before 6 p.m. on Brooklyn Avenue in East Flatbush.

Police responded to a call of a gunshot fired on the 6th floor of the building.

Officers entered an apartment and found a semi-conscious 15-year-old girl with multiple gunshot wounds to her body.

She was rushed to Kings County Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

So far, there are no arrests.
