Amber Alert canceled after child abduction in New Brunswick; Dad, son found

NEW BRUNSWICK (WABC) -- New Jersey State Police have canceled an Amber Alert after a father and his son were found following a child abduction in New Brunswick.

Police say William Merino, Jr., was taken by his father, William Merino, at knifepoint from a residence on Talmadge Street.

The father and child were found at a home on George Street.

They will be evaluated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
