The officers were not in uniform at the time.
According to investigators, there was a struggle and shots were fired. One of the suspects was shot in the foot. It's not clear if that bullet came from the officer's gun.
All three of the suspects were arrested.
Two were being questioned by police. The wounded suspect was recovering at Lincoln Medical Center.
