Crews on the scene say an SUV was traveling east on Alexis when a pick-up truck was traveling westbound on Alexis. The pick-up truck turned onto Talmadge in front of the SUV. The two collided. The pick-up truck flipped and spun around.
We're told there were four people inside the pick-up truck, including two kids: a 14-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, all in the front seat. Killed was 35-year-old Shannon Barto who was driving the truck. There is no word on the relationship of those in the truck.
Witness at the scene say they lifted the pick-up truck, which was turned over, to help get the people out. No word on the conditions of the others involved.
