Pace football team to honor slain student at game

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.

Pace University said Thursday the tribute prior to its home game against the University of New Haven on Saturday will include a moment of silence. The team will also symbolically play without Henry by fielding a defensive squad of only 10 players for the first defensive play of the game.

The Massachusetts student was killed when two officers fired at his moving car while responding to a disturbance in Thornwood.

Police and witnesses accounts differ. A lawyer for the victim's family has called for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate.

Henry's family is holding a memorial service Friday in Boston.
