Tony Stallone with Peapod was in our ABC7 studio to show us how to cook with these onions. He also shared three recipes that use cipollinis.
Tony's tips to peel cipollinis:
1. Slice off the root end
2. Blanch in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. The boiling water loosens the skin, and the onions slide out of their jackets and are ready to cook.
