ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Sister station WPVI in Philadelphia flew Chopper 6 HD over Jersey shore communities impacted by the Blizzard of 2016.
Many areas experienced moderate to severe flooding and serious beach erosion.
In Ocean City, authorities were trying to figure how to remove a large bell buoy that broke free from its mooring during the storm and washed up on the beach.
Officials from New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection were expected to join other state officials to tour different shore points Monday afternoon.
Those locations were scheduled to include Ortley Beach, Long Beach Island, Stone Harbor and North Wildwood.
