Truck at Brentwood gas station bursts into flames

BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (WABC) -- A truck caught fire while its driver filled the tank at a Hess station on Suffolk Avenue.

Brentwood firefighters were quickly on scene and able to extinguish the fire before it spread. No one was hurt.

The fire appeared to be coming from the engine compartment of the truck.

The Islip fire marshal is now looking into the cause of the fire.
