BRONXDALE (WABC) -- A mother and her 2-year-old daughter have been located, after the toddler was taken grandmother's home in Bronxdale after a family argument. The mother was taken into custody, and the child is okay.

Police say the argument started just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday on Bronx Park East in the apartment where the toddler was staying with her 42-year-old grandmother, because her 22-year-old mother does not have custody. Police tell Eyewitness News that at some point in the morning, the girl's mother showed up and the argument began. This is when police say the mother grabbed her toddler.

The mother then got into a dark colored Sedan and left.
