6 teenage girls wanted for questioning in assault in the Bronx

EASTCHESTER (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx are asking for help in tracking down six teenagers they want to question about an assault.



Officers are calling the girls 'persons of interest' in an attack on two 16-year old girls on May 31st.



They were walking to the subway after a basketball game at the Campanaro playground court at Eastchester Road and East Gun Hill Road when they were approached by six teenage girls.



Police say both victims were struck multiple times, suffering black eyes, bloody noses, lacerations, bruising and swelling to the face and body.



One of the two was treated for her injuries and later released from Jacobi Hospital.



Police have identified the persons of interest as Lauren London, Infinity Hammonds, Joy Starr, Samoi Emm, Celene Miller and Fanny Lexus.
