PHILADELPHIA -- The search is underway for three suspects after police say a woman, leaving her job on Jewelers' Row in Center City Philadelphia, was kidnapped, beaten, robbed and then dumped in a cemetery.
It all happened Saturday afternoon around 4:00 p.m.
The victim told police that she walked to a parking garage in the 700 block of Chestnut Street and that's when three men jumped out of a burgundy cargo van and put a hood over her head.
The woman says they asked for codes to the safe at National Watch and Diamond Company, where she worked - but she didn't have them.
Police say the suspects then drove her around, beat her, choked her and shot her with a Taser more than a half dozen times.
After zip tying her hands and feet, authorities say the men dropped her off at a cemetery in Darby.
However the victim told police, the suspects came back, then forced her to give up her ATM card and the pin, which she provided.
Finally after putting her back in the van and hitting several ATM machines, police say the men made off with $200.
The woman was then dropped back off at the cemetery but this time with steel ankle shackles on her.
The victim was battered and bruised but finally was able to get her hood off and made it to a nearby road where a passerby was able to help.
The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.
Police say she suffered a concussion, many bruises and cuts and is deeply traumatized by the crime.
Investigators believe the van the suspects got were driving is a burgundy Ford Econoling cargo van with white graffiti on the side and back.
The first suspect, who was the driver of the van, is described as a black male in his 20s, 6'3" tall, with a dark complexion and muscular build. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black hooded sweat jacket, a ski mask and sunglasses.
