Chance the Rapper grills at Nando's to raise money for Chicago kids

CHICAGO -- Chance the Rapper attended and grilled chicken at the newest Nando's PERi PERi Chicken restaurant in the Loop Tuesday, as a way to raise money for charity.

The hometown hip hop star worked the grill and greeted patrons at the location at Michigan Avenue and Lake Street.

Over the next three days all proceeds from the restaurant will go to Chance's SocialWorks Chi charity.

"If it involves cooking chicken and helping the kids, I'm down," he said.

SocialWorks aims to empower youth through the arts and education.
