Up Close: NYC Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Students in the biggest public school system in the country start taking standardized tests on Tuesday.

Parents opposed to testing and the Common Core curriculum are opting out. Last year one of every five students refused to take the test.

So how are New York City schools dealing with the tests this year?

We ask Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina about the tests and a lot more on this week's edition of Up Close.
