No crime after Long Island mall incident, apparent misunderstanding involving child

VALLEY STREAM, Long Island (WABC) -- An incident where it was thought that a man tried to walk away with a child at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream on Sunday was an apparent misunderstanding.

Investigators in Nassau County say that after an investigation, they have determined that the incident does not have a probable cause for arrest.
