TV food star Sandra Lee sent to hospital

ALBANY (WABC) -- Food Network television star Sandra Lee on Tuesday experienced a medical problem, possibly related to breast cancer surgery she had in May.

"There was a setback tonight due to what may be an infection post-mastectomy. But Sandra is her ever-fighting self ..." said a representative from Lee.

She lives in Mount Kisco in a home she shares with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The 48-year-old lifestyle personality revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on ABC's "Good Morning America" in May.

In her message posted to Facebook before the operation, Lee thanked those who offered prayers and messages of support.

Cuomo has been visibly supportive of Lee through her treatment.
