Man shot in High Bridge section of Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police have released surveillance video to help find two men they said opened fire on a street in the High Bridge neighborhood.

Investigators said the two suspects approached a 31-year-old man on University Avenue in the Bronx at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was in the 1000 block of University Avenue when he was approached by the two suspects. After a brief conversation, the two started shooting at the victim.

They fled and the victim was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital. He was stable with a gunshot wound to leg.
