2 cars on LIRR  train derails in Queens
CeFaan Kim has the latest developments from Jamaica.

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- Crews are responding to a LIRR derailment in Queens.

Two cars of the 8:56 p.m. train from Penn due at Babylon at 10:11 p.m. derailed just east of Jamaica near Archer Ave and Sutphin Boulevard.

There were approximately 600 passengers on board the train at the time, according to the LIRR

Crews were on the scene assisting and giving out water while they waited for the rescue train to arrive.

No injuries were reported, but there were many delays and cancellations.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
