Lyft adds panic button among other safety features

Officials with Lyft announced the ridesharing company's app will soon feature a 911 panic button.

The company will also enlarge driver license plate numbers in the app to stop mistaken identities.

The changes come one month after University of South Carolina student Samantha Josephson was killed.

The New Jersey native got into a car that she thought was her Uber.
