Stars of 'Manhattan Love Story' talk about shooting in NYC

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The stars of ABC's "Manhattan Love Story" talked about shooting the show in New York City.

Analeigh Tipton who plays "Dana" and Jake McDorman who plays "Peter" say that the whole cast has officially relocated to New York City.

They spoke to 7online about shooting at different locations throughout the city and getting to experience all of the tourist attractions. They've also found some fun restaurants along the way.

The pair is also looking for fun places to visit for their show and have reached out to fans on Instagram and Twitter for suggestions. They say that they have already visited a few, given the fans shoutouts, and have started posting them online.

Both say that their characters are continually evolving on the show and that can be fun and challenging for them.

"Watching Dana evolve and how the city is shaping her is so much fun to play," Tipton said of her character.

"Doing TV is weird, because it's unfolding as you go. With a movie, you have a beginning, a middle, and an end and you know the character's journey, but with TV it's like here's the first part and then we'll see," McDorman added.

Viewers watch the characters navigate the waters of a new relationship and get to hear what is actually going on inside their heads along the way.

"Manhattan Love Story" airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. on ABC!
