The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. at the Green Lane crossing in Bedford Hills.
Two women were inside the car but got out just in time to watch the crash happen.
"Upset, but no, we're not hurt," one of the women said.
Here is a photo from an Eyewitness News viewer who was on the train at the time of the crash:
Passengers on the 2:22 Harlem Line train out of Grand Central had to walk a plank to get off at the Green Lane crossing in Bedford Hills.
