UIC student allegedly raped woman while recreating '50 Shades of Grey' scenes

CHICAGO -- A University of Illinois - Chicago student has been charged after he allegedly raped another student while acting out scenes from the movie "50 Shades of Grey."

Prosecutors say Mohammad Hossain, 19, brought a female student to his dorm room, where he blindfolded her, then bound and gagged her before beating her with a belt and sexually assaulting her.

Authorities said Hossain confessed to police he was recreating scenes from "50 Shades of Grey."
