Elderly woman struck by MTA bus in Lower Manhattan

LOWER MANHATTAN (WABC) -- An elderly woman was struck and critically injured by an MTA bus in Lower Manhattan.

It happened at 6:13 p.m. at Water Street and Fulton Street.

The MTA bus was traveling southbound on Fulton Street when it struck the 90-year-old woman.

She was taken to Bellevue in critical condition.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
