Car slams into Crown Heights apartment building

CROWN HEIGHTS (WABC) -- A car crashed into the front of an apartment building in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn overnight.

The car rammed into the first floor of the Sterling Place building just before 2 a.m. Friday.

Residents were rousted from sleep, and the buildings department will determine whether they can return.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
