Former mayor Dinkins honored with Harlem 5K run

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- A Harlem Week event honored former mayor David Dinkins with a 5K run through the neighborhood.

The New York Road Runners organized the run in conjunction with the Harlem Chamber of Commerce.

Dinkins was the city's first and only Black mayor to date.

Dinkins passed away in November.
