2 police cruisers crash during chase in Newark

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- A police chase in New Jersey comes to an abrupt end after two police cruisers ended up crashing.

Newscopter 7 was over the scene of one collision between a cruiser and a car on South Orange Avenue in Newark.

Several blocks away, another police cruiser involved in the chase lost control, jumped the curb, and slammed into a fence.

No one was seriously hurt in either crash.
