NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police in Queens are searching for suspects in a shooting along a busy highway.

A 911 call reported shots fired from an Uber vehicle on the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx, headed toward the Triboro Bridge. No one was struck.

Police used Uber to track the car to Kennedy Airport's Terminal 4 parking lot.

The suspects in the car took off. One person is in custody.

Police were attempting to pull the vehicle over from the Bronx, but the driver did not stop and continued into Queens.

One suspect was chased onto Port Authority property near Kennedy Airport.

Police searched on airport property and on the Air Train.

Air Train was stopped briefly during the search for the suspect, but the Port Authority says the Air Train is running again.

An Uber driver-partner contacted the company this morning, informing that a group of riders had fired shots while in the vehicle and were still on the trip.

Uber informed the NYPD and State Police of the incident and provided real time ride location information about the trip.
