Authorities order closure of 'Spa Castle' in Queens, where young girl nearly drowned

COLLEGE POINT, Queens (WABC) -- Authorities are ordering the closure of the pools at a spa in Queens where a young girl nearly drowned.

The Health Department says its investigation of Spa Castle in College Point found it was not following safety standards.

Ten days ago, a 6-year-old girl got her hair caught, possibly in the drain of a shallow pool, and went underwater.

She was pulled out, and revived.
