CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- An NYPD lieutenant who was involved in the arrest of a postal worker in Brooklyn -- has been stripped of his gun and badge.
On March 17, postal worker Glen Grays, who was delivering mail in Crown Heights, was almost hit by an unmarked car with four plainclothes officers inside.
Grays said he was pulled away on President Street, and ultimately cuffed. The incident was caught on video.
The lieutenant who was supervising the arrest has been placed on modified duty. The three other officers involved have been placed on uniformed patrol.
Police have gathered surveillance video from the time of the incident as part of their review.
In addition, the officers got into a car accident after Grays' arrest, and he had to go to the hospital.
