Man and woman stabbed in East Village apartment complex

EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man and a woman were stabbed Monday morning in an East Village apartment complex.

It happened at 1 Haven Plaza is at Avenue C and East 12th Street.

They were taken to Bellevue Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police have taken a suspect into custody.

The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
