Armed suspect on the loose who robbed Queens convenience store

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS (WABC) -- The police are asking for your help to identify a suspect who committed an armed robbery in Kew Gardens, Queens.

On September, 11 around noon, a man armed with a silver handgun held up the Prime Convenience store on 78-21 Atlantic Avenue.

He stole some $2,500 and fled the store heading west on Atlantic Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black man, approx. 25 years of age, 6'0" in height, 175 pounds and wearing a black and gold baseball hat, black sweat shirt and blue jeans.
