CubeSmart armed robbery suspect on the loose, police say

CROTONA, Bronx (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a storage business in the Bronx.

Around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20, a man approached an employee at the CubeSmart storage facility on Southern Boulevard in Crotona. According to the New York City Police Department, he threatened the victim with a gun and demanded money. The employee gave him $87 and the suspect fled.

The worker was not hurt.

The suspect is 6 feet 3 inches, 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask over his head, black and red gloves, a black jacket with white patches and light colored pants.
