Truck carrying $500,000 in Coach bags stolen from Newark warehouse yard

The search is on in New Jersey Friday for a stolen trailer filled with a half-million dollars worth of goods.

Newark police got a call just before 8:30 a.m. that a commercial trailer disappeared from SalSon Logistics, a warehousing and distribution business located on Dormus Avenue just north of I-78.

Four pallets of luxury-brand Coach women's purses valued at $500,000 were inside the trailer, police said.

The incident is under investigation.
