Man found in Paterson, N.J., with hand blown off

PATERSON, N.J. (WABC) -- A man walking on the train tracks Tuesday morning apparently blew his hand off.

According to the Paterson Police Department, they responded to shots fired or an explosion on the tracks at 17th Avenue and 24th Street. When they arrived, they found a man with his hand blown off.

The bomb squad is on the scene investigating, but it is unclear exactly what happened.
