Kitten trapped inside car survives 90-mile ride on Long Island
Get the details on one kitten's incredible tale of survival.

PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island (WABC) -- It is said that cats have nine lives, and that is certainly true of one kitten on Long Island with an amazing survival story.

A driver says he headed from Port Jefferson to East Hampton and back before noticing a furry stowaway.

But he could not get to the cat who was stuck inside of his car.

He took the car to a Honda dealer, where mechanics dropped everything to pull the kitten out safely.

It is now at the Kent Animal Shelter.
