
PASSAIC, New Jersey (WABC) -- A three-alarm fire in Passaic, New Jersey spread to at least two homes early Friday.
The fire broke out in the Hope Avenue homes at around 5:45 a.m.
Firefighters were working to stop the flames from spreading to more homes.
One resident was pulled from a second-floor apartment. He was being treated for smoke inhalation.
Residents from 158, 160 and 164 Hope Avenue were evacuated.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
