8-year-old girl fatally struck by school bus in Monsey, Rockland County

MONSEY, New York (WABC) -- An 8-year-old girl was fatally struck by a school bus in Rockland County on Wednesday morning.

It happened on Blauvelt Road in Monsey just after 9 a.m.

NewsCopter 7 was overhead as investigations were underway.

Hatzolah EMS pronounced the girl dead at the scene.

The deadly crash is being investigated by the Ramapo Police Crash Investigation Unit.
