Long Island's iconic All American Hamburger Drive-In hit by burglar
MASSAPEQUA, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island are searching for the suspect wanted in a burglary at an iconic hamburger joint.
The burglary occurred just after 4 a.m. on Monday at All American Hamburger Drive-In, 4286 Merrick Road, in Massapequa.
Detectives say that the suspect broke the front glass door, entered the store and then fled in an unknown direction.
Police described the suspect as a male wearing camouflage cargo shorts, a black shirt, black sneakers and a red face covering.
Detectives have requested that anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
