MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Although it may not be winter yet, New York City is already getting ready for the holiday season.
The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is set to reopen at noon on Friday, October 24 for a new season of holiday shopping, dining and fun.
As part of the experience, visitors can enjoy free-admission ice skating in a 17,000-square-foot rink, the centerpiece of the Winter Village.
Visitors can also enjoy the Holidays Shops by Urbanspace, a European-inspired open-air market featuring artisan businesses from around the world. The shops are housed in custom-designed, "jewel box" kiosks, according to organizers.
If you're feeling hungry, the Winter Village also has The Lodge, a bar and food hall where customers can cozy up and grab a bite or drink.
Friends and family can also reserve their own private igloo with views of the surrounding festivities.
You can learn more about the Winter Village on the Bryant Park website.
