Bronx high school students hospitalized with injuries after bus crashes in Lake George

LAKE GEORGE, New York (WABC) -- High school students from the Bronx were hospitalized after a bus crashed in Lake George on Sunday morning.

The crash occurred near Lake Shore Drive and Diamond Point Road

The students and chaperones were from a number of different Bronx high schools. Four people are being treated at Glens Falls Hospital for minor injuries. The bus driver was transported to Albany Medical Center with more serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The others on board the bus were transported to the Warren County Sheriff's office. There were 17 students and six adults on the bus.

Volunteers from the American Red Cross are providing food, blankets and comfort kits with personal care items to the students.

New York State Police are investigating the accident.
