

BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Three teenagers were killed and several others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn late Tuesday night.
The collision happened on the eastbound side of the highway near 65th Street in the Bay Ridge section around 11:35 p.m.
According to investigators, a black Cadillac Escalade carrying five people collided with a Honda HR-V. Two teens riding in the Escalade were pronounced dead. A third occupant was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where he later died. The victims were 16, 17 and 18 years old.
Two others in the SUV were transported to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
The Honda was occupied by a 47-year-old driver and a 43-year-old passenger. Both women were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and were listed in stable condition.
The crash led to lane closures on the eastbound Belt Parkway as emergency crews responded to the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
