MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A festive spirit is in the air as the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair reopens for the season in New York City on Monday.
More than 30 local small businesses and artisan merchants are taking part in the holiday fair in Vanderbilt Hall inside Grand Central Terminal.
From home decor and jewelry, to art, apparel and artisanal fragrances, customers can purchase an eclectic mix of handcrafted goods and gifts that you might not be able to find anywhere else.
"We have 36 vendors selling high-end products in the busiest transportation terminal," said Shanifah Rieara, senior advisor for communications and policy at the MTA.
"So, whether it's your destination or you're passing through, stop by and grab a gift for your loves ones."
This is the second year at the holiday fair for NYCitySlab, which makes handcrafted items from reclaimed wood found within 70 miles of New York City.
"It was something I dreamed of doing. I'd come in from Mount Vernon and be amazed at the vendors that were here," said Robert Rising of NYCitySlab.
Now, Rising has a chance to sell his beautiful designs in Grand Central Terminal.
"It allowed me to reach people all over the country I would otherwise not have hands-on because I was in this location," Rising said.
Meanwhile, Ted Baker was thrilled to start selling his Beautelier scents at the holiday fair three years ago.
"A lot of people come in and stop by every year for the holiday season," Baker said.
You can also find ornaments, like the one made by the vendor Craftspring.
"We working with communities in Kyrgyzstan and India mostly and create wonderful ornaments. They're designed in Brooklyn so it is a small business," said Victoria Dickson of Craftspring.
Following a hit vending machine activation at the transit terminal last year, Inciardi Prints will make its debut at the holiday fair. The brand will have a full booth featuring five vending machines and over 30 new collectible mini prints, including limited-edition designs created exclusively for Grand Central.
Fair attendees will also be able to shop at the Grand Central Gift Shop and the Uncommon Goods Holiday Pop-Up Store as part of the fair.
The fair will be open every day and runs through December 24, with the exception of being closed on Thanksgiving.
You can find out more information about the holiday fair on the Grand Central Terminal website.
