JFK Customs and Border Patrol officer charged with attempted murder

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- A Customs and Border patrol agent who worked at John F. Kennedy International Airport has been charged with attempted murder in Florida.

According to arrest records, Angelo Portelli met a woman through TikTok and visited her multiple times before she ended the relationship.

In December, Portelli allegedly went to her home and attacked her current boyfriend -- an Orlando Police Department community service officer.

It turned into a shootout, with bullets hitting a home with two children inside.

Portelli is now being held without bond.
