2026 Jimmy Awards nominees have faces displayed on Times Square billboards
TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (WABC) -- The stars of tomorrow were in the spotlight on Thursday night, and we're not talking about the New York Knicks.
This year's Jimmy Awards nominees had their faces displayed on a giant billboard in Times Square.
The Jimmy's are like the Tony's, but for high school theater.
The contenders are from all across the country, including in New York City.
"It's obviously been an extremely good honor and I love it. I'm just stoked to be here," xx said.
it's so cool cause my school that I go to is actually here in Times Square and so I walk here every day," xx said.
The awards show takes place next Monday.
