John Feal discusses his new book, I Will Follow You Anywhere, the lasting impact of the attacks and the fight to support first responders.

As the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, longtime advocate John Feal is reflecting on the attacks, the lasting toll on first responders and survivors, and the importance of preserving the memories of that day.

Feal, who worked in the Ground Zero cleanup effort and later helped push for passage of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, joined Eyewitness News to discuss the thousands still battling chronic health issues, the work of the FealGood Foundation, and his new book, I Will Follow You Anywhere.

He also shared his perspective on how future generations can continue to honor the victims and lessons of Sept. 11 while protecting their own mental well-being.
