
INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man has died after a fire ripped through an apartment building in Manhattan over the weekend.
The fire broke out around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday at a six-story building on Sherman Avenue between West 204th Street and West 207th Street in Inwood.
According to the FDNY, the fire started on the fifth floor of the older brick building.
Citizen App video shows firefighters on scene using an aerial ladder to reach the fire as smoke billowed from the building. The fire was put under control about an hour later.

First responders transported a 66-year-old man in critical condition to New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
More than 70 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the fire, officials said.
Authorities are now trying to determine what caused the fire.
