Man stabbed in the chest in Lower East Side attack

LOWER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the chest on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the early hours of Monday morning.

The man was attacked at Ludlow and Stanton streets just after 1:55 a.m.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
