MTA Heroes turn retired subway items into memorabilia pop-up shop

NEW YORK (WABC) -- This week's MTA heroes are the dynamic duo behind the agency's annual memorabilia pop-up shop.

Vivian Ng and Paul Dvoskin, members of the asset recovery team, repurpose MTA items and recover value for the agency while reducing waste.

The pop-up, held in October in Brooklyn, gave customers the chance to buy station signage, subway seats, and other decommissioned equipment.

Ng and Dvoskin have a combined 40 years working with the MTA.
