RIVERHEAD (WABC) -- A murder trial in a DWI case is set to begin in Suffolk County Monday.
Michael Grasing, 33, is the first person on Long Island charged with murder in a drunk driving incident in six years.
He is accused of killing 18-year old Brittney Walsh two years ago.
Prosecutors say his blood alcohol level was almost four times the legal limit when he crashed into Walsh's car on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst at 100 miles per hour.
Grasing faces second-degree murder charges. Walsh had graduated from high school just two days before the crash, and was driving home from work.
