NJ Transit rail service resumes in and out of NY Penn Station after Amtrak signal issues

NEW YORK (WABC) -- NJ Transit rail service was temporarily suspended into and out of Penn Station New York Monday night.

NJ Transit says the service disruptions were due to Amtrak signal issues between Penn Station New York and Newark Penn Station.

Power has been fully restored, and all tracks are now back in service, but rail service is subject to up to 60-minute delays into and out of Penn Station New York.

NJ Transit rail tickets and passes are being cross honored by PATH at Newark Penn, Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York.
