NY Comic Con kicks off at Javits Center with costumes, panels and more
NEW YORK (WABC) -- For the next few days, don't be concerned if you see an elf, Darth Vader, or maybe a wizard walking around the city.
That's because New York Comic Con officially kicked off Thursday morning.
The pop culture convention is back for another year at the Javits Center.
The event will run through Sunday with plenty of activities for fans of movies, tv, anime, and video games.
You may even cross paths with some big names like Sigourney Weaver and Laurence Fishburne.
The gathering usually attracts nearly 200,000 fans throughout its four days.
